As we celebrate another Labor Day, two things come to mind: the unofficial end of summer, and the true meaning of Labor Day. The day marks a pivotal moment in U.S. labor history that came about because of workers who went on strike due to wage cuts. The day now is now to be celebrated, not because it means an additional day off for many, but because the opportunity to work is a privilege, not an entitlement. In the US, most people are employed; this is not the case in many countries around the globe.
The staff at Strategic Innovation Partners do not take for granted the significance of not only being employed, but embrace the value of working with some of the best organizations and agencies across the country. The impact of our work enhances the quality of lives of many of the people in the communities we serve. We see firsthand how much service delivery has improved, how staff have a renewed sense of purpose and optimism for the future, and we see leaders who are confident about the future. We do not take for granted our standard of excellence is the only standard we strive for. We consider it an honor and a privilege to offer our partners nothing less.
